After spending many successful years in the industry as a QST4 (Qualified Supervisor Trainer), Rick Douglas established Rick Douglas Safety Ltd. Rick takes great pride in his work and his passion is to help others in all aspects of training and job/site safety. His teaching skills come from years of personal experience working in the Forestry and Oil & Gas industries, as well as over 30 years of training others.

Our Chainsaw Safety Training programs provide both classroom and practical components. By the conclusion of the course, students will know about hazards, personal protective equipment, sharpening and refuelling, the most common cuts, which trees to avoid. This training is essential for homeowners and outdoor enthusiasts who cut their own firewood, but is also required if you are seeking employment in the Forestry and Oil & Gas Industries.

Knowledge testing is conducted throughout every Canadian Association of Geophysical Contractors (CAGC) chainsaw safety training program. Test questions are designed to reinforce the information presented and must be completed by each participant.
